 Clock tower of St Mary's Church at Newchurch in Pendle showing the Eye of God. The restored tower is the only original part of the chuch. There has been a chapel on the site since 1250 with the current church being built in the 17th century. The Eye of God in the west face of the tower was added to offer protection from witchcraft.

 Abandoned and derelict buildings in Haslingden Grane in East Lancashire. The agricultural crisis of the 1880s led to farmers abandoning their farms and houses throughout the region, but in the Grane valley this resulted in an almost complete exodus. Now all that remains are ruins of old buildings and the reservoirs that were created by flooding parts of the valley.
