Lancashire Images is a stock library of high quality photographs taken around the county of Lancashire by David Poole ARPS. The aim is to provide a comprehensive coverage of the area from the beauty of the countryside to the industrial heritage of the towns and cities.

For the purposes of this site Lancashire refers to the historic bounderies that existed before the 1974 boundary changes. These reduced Lancashire to little more than half it's original size with the creation of Greater Manchester and Mersyside in the south and with the loss of a substantial area around Morecambe Bay to Cumbria in the North. So whilst they are not in modern Lancashire towns such as Southport, Wigan, and Ulverston are covered by this site.
